Changing my personal culture: leveling up what I thought was possible and leaving behind what did not aid me in my new adventure. I was helped in this by two things. I moved across the country from New York to San Diego. I had to learn how to get along in my new environment in a very short amount of time. And going to college at one of the first non-traditional universities in the US. We had only a single class at a time and had that for entire month. Talk about culture shock each and every month. It was a trip.

But I learned how flexible I could be and I also learned I could leave my old ideas behind when they no longer served me.
