My first Victim is Female, 18 years old, BS Accountacy. I said “Hey, tignan mo ning site na ni”. when she view it, she said “ano man ni? para sain ni?”. I said “Dae ko ngani aram, hiling-hilingon mo lang.
At first, she’s doing nothing and just reading those words that pop ups. “ay pagkakan, nagutom lugod ako” she said. She tried to move the cursor and I notice that she was confused about those arrows that points up, down and both sides. When she points the cursor to the left side, she notice that it is button for the menu then she click it. The list of foods appeared and she click the pasta, I notice that she was disappointed because there is no picture of the pasta, “ay lapa! mayo man picture”. She was confused on what to do next (think she can’t find the back button). She noticed there’s an arrow pointing upward and she click it and found out that she is in the previous page, she tried to click again the dessert and same thing appeared (no picture, just list of dessert). She stop browsing the site “ay inda!”.
I think she didn’t like the site. She had a hard time navigating the site and was doing nothing most of the time.
My second victim is 55 years old, female. (my mother ☺)
I ask my mother to view this site. She was just staring at the screen doing nothing and ask me what is it for, and since I noticed that she is not interested with the site because she didn’t even click anything I said it was an experiment and she was my victim. She said she could not read the text.
I think she didn’t like the site because first she didn’t like guns. Second the design is poor specially the text because she couldn’t read it.
My third victim is 17 years old, female.
I asked her to take a look at this site. It made her look really like a kid while looking at this site. She was clicking everything and I noticed that she don’t understand anything because all she do is to look at all the pictures and was really amazed by the moving texts, then she realized it is posible to click it, then she did. She doesn’t know how to go back to the previous page and asked me to do it for her. Finally, she gave up and told me it was an interesting site sarcastically and obviously she doesn’t really find any interest in it.
Well, I believed she really doesn’t find anything that captures her interest aside from the moving texts because in the first place she doesn’t read anything and she just clicked everything.
