It’s fascinating how shared electric vehicles in general (cars, scooters, bicycles, kick-style scooters, etc.) will change the way cities are planned and urbanised in the future. I love this video from Volvo showing how autonomous vehicles will change cities, although the idea applies to any means of maximising the utilisation of assets which is precisely what vehicle sharing is all about (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcGENBzFDrg).
With the advent of EVs it’s going to be interesting to see how infrastructure (charging stations) is developed to support the massive rollout of these vehicles. This is one clear area where companies like Scoot will need to work tightly with local governments to plan and sponsor the development of such infrastructure to pave the way for these solutions to be feasible, I think.
