This is so fascinating! I really think cities will need to figure out how to deploy a network of charging stations that cater not only for electric cars and motorcycles, but also electric bicycles, scooters, longboards, skateboards, etc etc etc.
They seem to have invested a lot of money in opening up Barcelona. Huge warehouse, plenty of scooters and they’ve just sent me an email asking if I’d be interested in beta testing their electric bicycle sharing service. I think this is a trend that Uber is also trying to pursue, to become a Mobility Platform rather than a player in a specific vertical.
I love the fact that you gusts actually went into so much detail as to even think about this feature! Clearly a great design feature that will hopefully make other companies also adopt it. Can you share with us a broad idea as to usage of this feature? Have your users found it helpful?
