Appreciate your input, Asle, thank you for joining the conversation. If you’ve read and understood my stuff you will know that I don’t need to be reminded that there is no Planet B.

I know you haven’t asked, but I’m going to show tough love by giving feedback on your site while wearing my marketing hat. I’m doing this because I care — I can read between the lines and see that your heart is in the right place. Unfortunately, most people who see your site won’t give you the benefit of the doubt and will simply ‘bounce.’ I bet the traffic to your site is non-existent, and the number of calls you’re getting is even lower.

Here’s why:

  1. Your website copy is full of meaningless corporate and sustainability jargon that doesn’t tell a story.
  2. You have no case studies of specific results your system has achieved.
  3. You have no social proof in the form of raving client testimonials.
  4. You haven’t told me what specific problem you solve (I know you can solve many, but choose one and focus on that).
  5. There is no call to action, except to call you. No-one picks up the phone any more to call a business, so I’m guessing that all you hear in the office is crickets.
  6. The grammar throughout your site is bad. I’m guessing English is not your first language, but here’s the problem: you’re dealing with pretty serious stuff and potential clients will wonder how you intend getting the big stuff right if you can’t get the small stuff right.

I’m sure your offering is genius — you need a genius marketing consultant to get your messaging right.
