Ethan, you are assuming that we are not the beginning of this dimension, and even though we know through mathematical modelling and advanced observation, that the basis of multiple dimensions exist. You assume our dimension exists at a quantum state.
This is a ‘misguided’ view to take. The dimension will continue to expand, until such time as the super massive, and ultra massive Black Holes consume all matter. This will cause a crushing effect, where Space Time no longer exists, just rogue ultra massive Black Holes exist. They either combine, or they (in the rare event) if opposite in polarity, but equal in mass, will merge, collapse event horizons, and using the positive and negative singularities, create a new dimension.
When it comes to understanding the impossible beginnings of our ‘Universe’ (I hate that word), there are answers that lay outside conventional thinking. If you enslave yourself to other ‘proven’ physic constants, you will never step outside of conventional thinking. None of the great scientists took anything for granted, and they are the giants shoulders we stand on today, but their vision was limited to what was outside conventional then, and instead of rehashing the same, try jumping up off those shoulders and see where it takes you.
The next breakthrough can come at any time, but how will we recognise it if we only allow conventional thinking determine that?
No advance came without ridicule, no new understanding came without debate, let the debate begin.
