The Australian Charity Reputation Index has ranked Australia’s most reputable charities for 2019.

The Australian Charity Reputation Index, conducted annually by Reputation Institute, surveys Australians to measure the overall reputation of the country’s 40 largest charities.

Charities are ranked on measures of trust, admiration, respect and overall esteem. Other factors, such as Innovation, Services, Citizenship, Workplace, Governance, Leadership, and Cost Management also play a role in who will make the cut.

The top 10 most reputable charities for 2019 are:

This year saw the reigning champion, Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, who ranked first for eight years in a row, dethroned by CareFlight.
