LOL!!! That's exactly how it happens. The difference for me and my guys is in lieu of another dog it's "wait, there's a deer" and the chase is on, albeit never successful. These used to be stressful moments for me as my experience has shown these chases can end up in another county. So, after a LOT of training, and training aids like e-collars, all I have to do now is a quick little vibrate and they literally turn on their heels leaving Bambi to bounce away in peace.
