Max,

As a moderate myself, this post just comes off badly. You aren’t writing as a moderate here, but instead posted a manifesto. As a moderate I tend to think — well this, but also that, and then try to make sense of two often competing ideas. For example, businesses want to higher the most effective workers, yet research also suggests that diverse businesses tend to make better decisions, even though the work environment is more difficult to navigate. How should the business think about this? What about the workers? And of course we do live in the age of over-reaction, where we have trouble determining appropriate levels of outrage. Is an internal memo by a Google worker comparable to the President threatening nuclear war? These are all reasonable enough topics to consider. But a title that includes lynch mob. No sir, that is just meant to titillate and sensationalize. I fear that your attempt at reasonableness here is feeble at best. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing. Discussions continue.
