While Healthline preferred that their editors stick to using freelance writers, I insisted that we use our voices and write content that embraced empathy as a tool for helping others learn about what it’s like to live with a chronic illness. This is a small collection of content I was able to produce or write based on social listening for trending news topics that helped move the conversation about living with invisible illnesses forward. Some of the content was included in Healthline’s very first social campaign that I lead from start to finish called #MakeItVisible, where we encouraged people to share their invisible illness stories to shed some light on the challenges hidden from plain view.

I’ve also included an assortment of content developed for TheHealthFeed.com, Ask Media Group’s health and wellness website that I built from scratch for SEO and organic engagement.
