While Healthline preferred that their editors stick to using freelance writers, I insisted that we use our voices and write content that embraced empathy as a tool for helping others learn about what it’s like to live with a chronic illness. This is a small collection of content I was able to produce that helps move the conversation about living with invisible illnesses forward. Some of the content was included in Healthline’s very first social campaign that I lead from start to finish called #MakeItVisible, where we encouraged people to share their invisible illness stories to shed some light on the challenges hidden from plain view. Enjoy!
