My Biggest Wish
“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them.” ~ Henry D. Thoreau
My biggest wish is a world without desperation, but instead filled with hope and happiness; a world where people reveal and share their talent and passion willingly. In this world, people never walk by an elderly person crossing a busy road without offering a helping hand. Children are never left crying without an attempt at bringing a smile. Students are challenged and stretched before they leave school. This is a world where people work hard at improving the quality of life for themselves and others; where competition breeds excellence and excellence is everyone’s aspiration. In this world no man, woman or child goes to their grave “with the song still in them.”
