Looking at this through a security perspective, this interactivity seems to go counter to the warnings we give to users to NOT click anything in emails but to use bookmarked or known URLs to complete the provided interactions, especially when it comes to financial information like credit cards. Yes, all this can concern can be eased with certified emails and domains and secure email applications to a point. We would love to offer interactivity through email, but so do those who use scamming and phishing and once you let users interact in safe emails they revert back to their old habits of clicking before thinking. That is the reason so many organizations either strip emails or use email clients that do so. Something to think about before you get too interactive in emails.
