Are You Against Gay Marriage Because: The Bible?
Scott Bateman

Hi Scott, you’re not only wrong to post this, but you clearly showed that you yourself haven't read the Bible recently or even at all. “the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,” — 1 Timothy 1:10. The context is Paul listing lawless acts that is not godly and is wrong in sound doctrine. Coincidentally, the title of the subject Paul is writing on is “warning against false teachers”, how there will be people misinterpreting the word of God to fit their own desires and not of the law. Basically, people who compromise the word of God in their own terms. I read the Bible everyday for the past 3 years, and I find it insulting for someone to say that they read the Bible themselves and dont know this. Instead of conjuring Bible texts to misinterpret the Word of God, how about you actually study the Word? (1 Timothy is not the only time that mentions homosexuality, you can also see it be referenced in Romans.) Oh, and anyone reading this, these are NEW TESTAMENT Bible verses I’m using, the same ones that was written when Christ was crucified and resurrected.
