Interesting. You could basically gender swap a lot of the text here, change a few of the details about thin/petite women to something about thin/broad shouldered men and it pretty much perfectly describes my experience trying to date as a fat man. Except I’m not attracted to men, so I haven’t tried dating them. I think this is more universal than gender and might be a common part of the shared human experience.
