An excellent response. It is the middle of the bell curve that seems unable to avoid confused bickering as the only response to our problems. And the problems are perfectly solvable but there is no clear majority so they become unsolvable. That is what tells me that we are pending a completely disruptive change in our social structure. Our language has lost traction and can no longer pull us through complex and sticky issues. We slip on racism because most people have never really left their protective ethnic shell usually defined by false absolutes like religion or traditional ideologies. We see that right now with the voices of those false absolutes denying reality and claiming that, apparently, everything is perfect because the trouble is being caused by those who are pointing to it being anything but perfect. And that slides down the slippery slope into all sides are equally valid although that cannot be. But no one can counter that.

I think we need to move most of our political life away from politics and into logical administration by logical entities that operate on the basis of massive data and ever more refined pattern analysis. We can’t do it but we can design learning systems that can produce artificial intelligence that can . . . Then we can emotional and dogmatic about baseball and cooking and things that we can handle . . .
