The power to question is the basis of all human progress — Indira Gandhi

The best way to learn, develop and connect to others is to ask questions. Why so? Good questions connect us to what we know and inspire us to seek new possibilities by viewing the world from different perspectives. Every great idea begins with a great question.

Consider George de Mestral. On a very good day, he was walking in a field and noticed a burr stuck to his pant leg. Instead of just brushing it off, he thought, “what could this be used for and what can I learn from it?” The result was Velcro.

Endeavour to practice asking more questions in your everyday conversations. Intelligent questions stimulate, provoke, inform and inspire. Questions help us to teach as well as to learn.
