Is what you feel acceptable?

I agree, Jessica. All feeling are acceptable. Something I’ve come to terms with more recently, during my visit to the West Bank, is that feelings of anger and defensiveness are okay and acceptable. For some people, it’s important to soften into their sadness and vulnerability, to let the tears flow, even if they don’t know from where. For me, though, my journey also involves accepting and sitting with more aggressive emotions, without having to act upon them, and simultaneously without judging them or myself either. After all, we are all only human.
