This argument presented here seems incredibly, almost deliberately, simple-minded. This isn’t just some woman working for some man: she is the press secretary for the president of the United States. She is no more racist for covering for his blatant racial mishaps than she is sexist for covering for his sexist mishaps, or whatever fill-in-the-blank transgressions Trump has committed. Its the job of teh press secretary to cover for blunders… thats just what it is. I am ot saying its OK or right, but let’s not mistake this for racism.
