This whole thing is so negative and leaves you feeling like you can’t control anything. It’s deflating. Also, it doesn’t give an actionable counter point … what is the recommendation here? That you should buy things that you ‘love’ without any thought to a cost benefit analysis? Just do whatever you feel like because too many things are ‘out of your control’ anyways? I’m all for debate and disagreement, but it’s much more enjoyable when its constructive and well thought out.
