Email Marketing is not dead.
A month ago we gave Kit a new skill set: E-mail marketing.
A lot of people thought we were wasting our time building this skill set into Kit, saying, “Email marketing is dead”.
I felt people thought we were moving backwards.
I think its very fair to say that email marketing has grown a bit stale, and feels spammy, when received from a big company like Best Buy.
However, for most business owners, it is still an extremely effective communication channel. It just needs to be easier and more well thought out.
One month later, Kit has sent over 30,000 emails on behalf of the small business owners using Kit, and has contributed to countless sales.
The best part is, it only took 4 text messages for them to do it.
Email marketing is still very much alive and well.
