Another comment on the meta. I don’t agree with this statement. You have an extremely high standard that is rarely met, even in cases when the takedown case being made is mostly accurate and does follow the facts. All of the differentiating indicators of “legitimacy” you state I do think would be very indicative of legitimacy. However, in this sentence you are making the reverse claim, which is that their absence means it’s likely that it’s illegitimate. This I don’t buy. If I apply your standard as stated, I believe that it is likely that I would end up declaring some factually accurate narratives as illegitimate according to your standard. Hoping you see this response as supportive for your argumentation.
