Excellent point. Engagement is not a one way street. Organic movements from the ground level should be encouraged by empowering employees to take action and then getting out of the way. After all, who knows best the pains? And who knows best the solutions? Advice is whispered everyday up and down the corridors. “Why can’t anyone see that this idea would be a better way?” We all have ideas. What is lacking is the communication that permission is not needed. Just go for it and elevate others.
