Good read, Joe; thank you.

You seem pretty set on humanity as the embodiment of consciousness, as if it manifests from some original source within us. I share your love of humanity, but take seriously Kruzweil’s question of where the line is drawn between machine and human: at what point would one lose their humanity once augmented? I would also ask, why is embodiment a necessary locus of ideation?
