Well done David. We often talk about “the journey” and the “long run,” but most C-Suite leaders never last long. It’s an interesting intersection of limiting beliefs. If the C-Suite leader believes that the long tenure in the role isn’t possible based on his/her worldview, then they play the short game. And the short game usually tacitly accepts Monster Managers who deliver. Part of the fix may be helping executive leaders lose their limiting belief that they can’t play the long game. Again, well done. Great contribution.
