My Favorite macOS Ventura Feature Shouldn’t Be Needed
But I’m glad we’re getting it.
The public release of macOS Ventura is just around the corner, and it promises to bring a slew of new features and functions to Mac users with compatible hardware.
While I doubt it will be the next Mac OS X Snow Leopard (my favorite version) I’m excited to see just how Ventura addresses some of Mac users’ pain points and makes Apple’s computers more stable and productive.
At least we can hope.
Exciting new features in macOS Ventura
Like every new macOS iteration, this release is expected to deliver a laundry list of improvements, updates, tweaks and new bells and whistles to make using the system easier, more enjoyable and more secure.
Mail, Spotlight, Safari, Messages, FaceTime, Game Center, Apple Pay and more are slated to see upgrades. Apple is moving to replace passwords with what they are terming “Passkeys.” And the new Stage Manager is intended to offer additional window management tools while multitasking.
All of those are exciting updates, but there’s something that I personally am really looking forward to.
