How to Draw Warehouse Layout With Sketchup in 3D

I have often encountered situations where presentation to the customers led to confused facial expressions. Showing the clients AutoCAD drawings, especially to non-operational people was a tough situation to be in.

It was difficult to convey the correct message of the warehouse layout to the other person.

However, with 3D pictures, explanation becomes a breeze.

The power of visualization.

The software I am using is SketchUp.

To shorten the warehouse modeling time, I have developed dynamic components that allow me to configure to the specific requirements of the project. Basically, it becomes plug and play.

The concept is similar to LEGO, building an empty warehouse model and placing the various components in the correct locations.
