Quint: Bringing Stability to the Unstable Markets

How the Quint Coin is Taking a Common Sense Approach to Currencies and Offering a Stable Solution

With all of the talk of cryptocurrencies in today’s news, there are inevitably always going to be questions raised about “why does this have any value?” It’s not uncommon to hear people dismissively refer to cryptocurrencies as “Ponzi schemes,” but is that merited? Even at face value, it’s definitely not the case when talking about cryptocurrencies as a movement generally, but even on top of that, there are certain cryptocurrencies that carry a lot more weight to them — and that’s where the Quintric system comes into play.

Though there is plenty of fair skepticism of any new asset class in the expanding world of FinTech and cryptocurrencies, there are also certain coins that stick out a lot more than others. While plenty of coins and tokens rely mainly on public perception of value or speculation about the potential for value in the future, the Quintric family of coins is the first to come to the market to offer real, tangible value for the cryptocurrency.

For example, let’s take a look at the “Quint” token. Each one of the Quint tokens constitutes five U.S. gold cents ( one 1/1000th of a one- ounce, legal tender, gold coin), meaning that the currency is actually much closer to being a far more technologically advanced version of the U.S. Treasury’s gold certificate from days of old, rather than an IOU of value.

Cryptocurrency Investment

When an investor holds the cryptocurrency, they’re not only holding value in the currency, but also value in what is backing it. An easy way to think about the Quint is like a more high tech version of the traditional U.S. fiat currency (U.S. dollar) when it used to be backed by gold.

Each U.S. dollar was representative of a specified amount of gold that was held in reserve and which holders of the currency had the option to trade for gold at any point if they wanted. That’s exactly what Quint, and the rest of the Quintric monetary system is looking to bring to the crypto world: value, stability, and assurance.

When investors decide to purchase the cryptocurrency, they’re taking on significantly less risk than many other projects. The Quint token, like the old days of the gold standard dollar, are able to be redeemed for U.S. gold on demand by holders. Not a bad deal, is it?

Quint will always hold its value in gold and is completely backed by vaulted gold reserves.

Unlike the countless number of projects offering coins and token at their initial coin offerings on the hopes and expectation of the coins increasing in value in the future, the Quint brings stability and assurance to those interested in the market. Quint will always hold its value in gold and is completely backed by vaulted gold reserves. Additionally, holders of the coins will be able to go through an audit of the Quintric system and will be able to actually see that their coins are being backed up physically by the precious metals; there’s no need to take anything on faith here.

With Quint, and the rest of the Quintric family, available, investors will no longer have to settle for half-baked solutions to the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets. Sometimes investors are looking to slow down and escape some of the volatility when things are not always certain, and Quint offers them the ability to do just that.

Due to the nature of the coin and where it derives its value from, those looking to seek shelter in the constantly changing storm of volatile markets will be able to find a safe haven. If it ever became necessary (though it likely won’t anyway), investors would even have the opportunity to pull their money out of the cryptocurrency markets altogether by going back to another form of legal tender: gold.

Old-school, traditional gold-backed currencies

Sure, the case of needing to pull all of one’s assets out of the crypto markets is an extreme case, but with Quint, investors can actually stay completely in the market (read: highly liquid should a new opportunity present itself for investing) without the negative aspects of actually staying in the market (read: fear, uncertainty, and doubt).

The Quintric family of coins may just be the perfect solution to many financial concerns in the industry now. By seamlessly integrating the benefits of old-school, traditional gold-backed currencies, with the technological innovations and efficiency of cryptocurrencies, Quint is going to be one new currencies investors won’t want to be dismissive of.
