The Design Sprint is a SUPERB methodology to build prototypes of products and services QUICKLY. 🌀

It’s been developed at GV (Google Ventures) as a technique to quickly design, prototype, and test the viability of an idea, product, or feature.

The design sprint consists of 5 phases (typically days), starting with design thinking and ending with a user-tested prototype.

At HotelQuickly and EdTech Labs we’ve used it several times to validate an idea and test with potential customers. Below is an overview of the structure.

DAY 1: MONDAY

Make a map of the problem you’re trying to solve and ask a few experts around to understand it better.

DAY 2: TUESDAY

Review existing ideas and sketch new ones. Diverge..

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY

Converge. Critique each solution from the previous day and decide which one of them will you prototype.

DAY 4: THURSDAY

Build a prototype that you will test on the following day. Fake it to look real.

DAY 5: FRIDAY

Interview your customers and learn by watching them use your prototype.

🔥 Overall, this process has been proven very useful to build new prototypes.

Workshop

On Sep 27, 2018, I organize a FULL-DAY WORKSHOP in Bratislava. Join me to learn how to adopt the sprint in your company, how to iterate faster and cheaper.
