With Atomic CSS you apply the style to the elements using single-rule class names, moving the styling logic from the CSS to the HTML, as follows: `<h2 class=”mb0”>` (margin-bottom: 0). Consequently, to update the margin of those elements you have to edit the HTML file, which should only be touched when the structure of the page changes.
Yes, we checked different solutions. Most of them use a Emmet-like syntax for various reasons (avoid bloating the HTML, being easily parsed, etc.) while we didn’t have any of those constraint because we are composing the atomic classes in the CSS. That’s why we tried a different path.
