Not Just Another Deceased Cat Story
Robert Schwartz

Last Sunday my husband and I had to let go of our 14 year old Chocolate Lab Dixie. She had been a huge part of my sons’ lives, now 26, 25 and 24. I think the hardest part for me (even worse than watching her waste away) was watching them say goodbye. It is funny how pets seem to be the glue that helps bond human relationships. I really appreciate you sharing your experience with Santos. I’ve been having a hard time letting go of Dixie, but I think this will help me see that her life and death also were not in vain. Thank you!
