Child+Sex+Money= Disturb

In Compton, California delinquents were being used as prostitutes in local neighborhoods and even a state. A mother and son duo, Joshua Davis and Sharilyn Anderson, gathered enslaved minors to make money. Davis and Anderson encharged of prostituting two, young, females, ages 15 and 16, to many men. One girl was rescued in a motel. And the other was found in a home in South Los Angeles. Money is a very powerful necessity, but have the desire to capture a child’s life is mind boggling.
“… power slips in to create the effects of desire: power… produces positive effects at the level of desire- and also at the level of knowledge.”
I find it very crazy that people create such a thrill or desire to damage one’s life for their own pleasure. Davis and Anderson are not the only ones doing such a disturb behavior. Soliciting minors is a very well known behavior in Southern California. My father drives public transportation, known as MTA, and he would always come home sharing a story. I would never forget the one story he shared about how he met a delinquent that ditches school to make money. So my dad being the nosy bus driver, always starts a conversation beginning with, “why aren’t you in class?” Normally when children are ditching school they are up to no good. Usually he gets the same answer “nothing” or “I am sick, so I need to go home.” However this one time a young girl simply told him, “I work for a pimp.” My dad was completely thrown off guard because he was not expecting this young girl to say such thing. She continue to share that she needs to make money for her family. I was about 16 when my dad shared this story at the dinner table and it stuck with me since then. I always wonder how does one have the thought that they need to sell their body at such a young age (or any age) to get through life. Children being involved with a money and sex scandal will forever be a disturbance. And it is beyond crazy that grown men and women are allowing such behavior to happen for their own benefit. The desire for money is way too dominate. Money would make people do immoral acts that does not have any type of explanation to justify why. For those that enjoys the pleasure of torturing a person’s free will is very disturbing and outrageous.
