I decided to try to become more “sex positive,” more adventuresome. I would use my husband’s porn preferences as a catalyst to explore my own sexual preferences, to expand my boundaries. I told myself I should be grateful my husband is still willing to explore new territory, still has a taste for passion and excitement and creativity.

This is what happens when we decide to compromise on our personality and dynamics with no valid or apparent reason. You forget yourself and try to be fit for someone who is not willing to do the same for you. It’s a sad but frequent scenario.
