Social Media and Big Data (Part 4)

Big Data has certainly created some big challenges for IT! From capturing the data, storing the data and then analysing the data to provide useful feedback or sight. Social media firms are a great example to as we know their primary business function is about predicting and encouraging people to click on individual links on the platform.

I am interested to see how Big Data changes the Small & Medium businesses (SMB). Will the technology mature to the point that the SMB will be able to leverage this technology? Or is this a large enterprise luxury or technology?
