How Past and Secrets Affect Your Relationship with Money

Perhaps money is probably the most discussed topic of the moment. Money, and happiness… don’t seem to intersect that often.

Money buys temporary happiness, while absolute happiness is bought with health and well-being — better professional->spiritual->mental balance. By this, I mean that if there is a healthy balance between the above, it is impossible not to feel happy and fulfilled. Now, how many of us don’t seek that, right?

Most secrets fall into one of these three categories:

  1. Secrets about immoral actions and behaviors.
  2. Secrets about affairs or infidelities.
  3. Secrets about work and money.

In general, we easily hide secrets related to financial matters from family, friends, and especially from our partners.

Sadly, it is not new that the most common reason for arguments among couples is money, and hiding or spending it without the other person’s knowledge is a practice that happens more often than we can imagine.
