Olivia, it is awesome that you would be willing to be a foster parent to gender nonconforming kids. The first step is to get licensed to be a foster parent in your county. You can tell them that you are interested in takning gender nonconforming kids. In my experience there are not enough families for these kids and the people trying to place them will be thrilled. Then, I suggest doing some kind of training. Gender Spectrum is an awesome resource and does a family conference that I highly recommend to all people with gender non-conforming kids in their lives.
