How Much Is Too Much For A Haircut?
Megan Reynolds

My hair cut is creeping up towards the $80 mark. I think under $100 is my threshold, especially since I don’t do anything special with my hair — no glazes or products, or highlights, or fancy waves. I have tried cheaper spots — Super Cuts and its ilk — and it is totally true that you get what you pay for.

Now, as far as manicures/pedicures go: I’m all for the $30 and under spa places. I once splurged on a $50 mani/pedi “experience” that basically upgraded me from plain foot bath water to water with a lemon peel floating in it. And there was a neon blue foot scrub that smelled like chlorine. Never again. Even cheap nail salons can do an exceptional job.
