It is a dangerous precedent to punish the actions of many for one decision of the few. This seems opportunistic and counterproductive, particularly because it does not appear that any dialogue with YC was even attempted.
I appreciate your objective. However, just like the handling of the Reddit debacle, the lack of actual dialogue is the issue I see here. I do not think you have furthered the cause of diversity in tech by doing this, much to the detriment of the cause.
