When I was in college, I made no time for hobbies. Since moving here and having more time on my hands, I discovered a love for cooking. There’s something about using creativity and simple ingredients to make something wonderful. I suppose having a smaller food budget inevitably encouraged the creativity.

This post is dedicated to taking a first step towards living differently than in college.

I didn’t cook in college because I “didn’t have time”. A part of my prided myself in the fact that I was busy, but another part of me that wished I wasn’t always on the go.

When I moved here, I knew I wanted to find a hobby and one that I could enjoy and share with others. Developing my cooking skills is something I’m really glad I was able to focus on this past year. It is exciting to think of all the people I will get to cook for in the future!
