Exactly right. Stop sales of assault weapons. Stop Internet and gun show sales. Period. Add lawsuits against gun sellers who have failed to fully, responsibly check the purchaser and bar them from selling guns again.

We need to ignore the NRA nonsense and look to facts – – rarely, if ever, does a gun owner successfully protect himself/herself or his/her family from bodily harm by use of a weapon against a bad guy. Many, many, many innocents die from accidents, suicides, and as victims of gun crime. Easy access to guns has made America an incredibly dangerous place to live, so unnecessarily.
