Can we all step back and realize this is coming from a self-proclaimed “observer” not a real participator. Of course when you come at things from that perspective it is easy to sit back and simply judge what you don’t fully understand (you can’t possibly if you this is your assessment!). He has been doing it since he sat judging all of the PLUR kids in the early 90’s. While what he writes may be true of SOME individuals, as to the point he makes repeatedly in his own article, this is nothing new. There are degenerates and people that are simply using things as escape in every area of life. Ours is no different.

He will never understand the intangible side that keeps us all coming back to continue to build our families in our scene. It is only something that a true participator would understand. Just because you went to some parties and did K and think you were there does not mean that you went in with a true open heart. That is only way the light comes in. Once that light touches you, there is really no turning back… It is kind of sad actually that he was so close for so long, yet entirely missed the point.

Also — for all your negative talk about the Burn… have you ever been yourself JB? I am going to take a wild guess and say not. I’d say you should try it, but I already know you will just go in as a judging observer. We definitely don’t want that around our cuddle-puddles!
