Hey, where are the black people?

Of course they’re all white. It was 19 freaking 43! Sad that everything has to be viewed through the racial lens today. That’s the way it was. Doesn’t make it right, but sure makes it real. I, for one, can appreciate the greatness of these photographs in and of themselves without a preachy political subtext beyond WWII. Think of it as a slice of white Americana for the time and be done with it.
