And remember, not a single line of code runs without transistors. Electronics and microprocessors enable software to even exist. There are a lot of things in life that use electronics that have no software on them. Software is being added over time, partly because people are lazy, but a lot of things with electronics run fine with no code at all, but very few things run programmed instructions without electronics (card programmed looms, for example). And there is nothing in the world running Javascript without a digital processor of some type.
