I agree it would be great to do a detailed analysis of the votes cast and show verifiably whether it’s three million, one million, or only 42. But the point is that to claim it’s any number without such backing is unethical. Go ahead and claim that you think people ineligible to vote did cast votes if you feel that way. But don’t claim numbers until you actually know something.

And as Arnovitz’s article shows, Trump didn’t win the game “hugely” as you mention; Trump’s margin of victory in the electoral college is the 11th worst of all presidents, therefore, the proper adjectives for that margin of victory in the electoral college would be more like “sub-par”, “below average”, or “middling”, and not “landslide”, or “hugely”.
