As many Go-developers, I also often wished for generics. It’s not like I need them everyday, but occassionally, when writing libs and/or dealing with data structures, or when trying to solve something just a little more elegantly… I really want them.

So when reading https://blog.golang.org/generics-next-step I was thrilled that the proposal keeps getting refined and clearer ( also happy about the contract idea being dropped ).
