And don’t forget the Journal of the American College of Radiology’s Patient Friendly Appropriateness Criteria project (link: https://www.jacr.org/content/ac-patient-summaries), which is putting up short summaries in plain English of common rads scans, and their appropriateness in various diagnostic settings. Aimed at real shared decision making, it’s a body of work that all specialties should adopt: build literacy while building trust. Lather, rinse, repeat.
