Cisco, Netsuite, Salesforce, Exchange.. oh no.

These are three very big names in the Enterprise IT world..

Put quite simply they are the IBM of our time, the complacent, awful devices that get suggested because of adverse in O level magazines and periodicals..

These are brand names which get installed because of a lack of imagination by people who really should have no place dictating any IT system because they “heard” they were good from other people who don’t have a clue.

There are cheaper, better, more versatile options offering far more for all of the above out there which won’t drain your bottom line in the same way these brand names do.

And if your wondering why? You can tell a lot about a book by it’s cover and just the terrible cluttered in though out interfaces used by these products should be enough to let you know that any company who wants you spend that much and can’t afford to hire a user experience design specialist really isn’t what you want.

As for Cisco, people it’s 2017 already, I can pick up a router offering many more features, with better thoughput, capabilities and a slicker easier interface than any ASA for a third of the price.

Exchange is just a blob.. it should have been buried years ago, it’s so far behind the curve it’s embarrassing..

Just because it’s a brand and it’s expensive doesn’t make it best of breed..

Do so due diligence, find what works for your business not the brand names your competitors are using..

Think dynamic.
