Thanks for your article! I’m a proud father of three children (two 12 y old and 9 months old respectively) and I want them to grow in a world where they can reach their maximum potential. As a software engineer, I try to expose my kids to the wonders of software development. My eldest daughter seems to have pretty good grasp of math and programming although it is to early too tell if this is something that she would like to do for a living. That being said that makes her a bit of a nerd uninterested in “girly” stuff, which seems to promote some bullying from her *female* colleagues at school (nothing serious, but kids can be pretty mean — she seems to have no issues with the male colleagues however). How were your experiences in school with your female colleagues?
