In my opinion one of the most powerful ideas. But the question arises if is it really possible to control your emotions with logic? Maybe (and hopefully) to some extent but it’s for sure “easier said than done”.

Also, there’s a third part to this idea. There are things which we can partially control. In this case it’s good to internalize our goals. Classic example is competing with yourself (doing your best) instead of competing with others.
