SKIN CARE 101

I would like to share my night skin care routine, which I ascertained after a thorough research (from several vlogs, blogs, articles)! I tried and personally tested different routines and products in order to see which will work out for me. I am using mostly Korean products and techniques, particularly tapping or dabbing when applying products instead of rubbing them in and thus, I recognize Koreans as pioneers in terms of skin care regime.
I am a Filipino college student so I am a bit busy and sometimes tired, I commute back and forth to school everyday. I don’t think my skin will be able to maintain its vitality without effort, not to mention the worst air quality in Metro Manila. Due to limited financial resources as a student, I recommend the products below that I personally use on a daily basis, (granted that this might not work out with everyone considering different skin types and lifestyle) because they are really cost-effective, affordable and available here in the Philippines.

1. Make Up Remover*

I use Céleteque or Nivea’s facial cleansing wipes. Sometimes, I also use L’Oreal’s make up remover or cleansing milk.

2. Cleansing Foam*

I use Tony Moly’s Clean Dew Aloe Facial Cleanser.

3. Another Cleanser*

After washing my face, I proceed to cleansing again with Cetaphil.

4. Toner

I apply Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshner.

Optional:
I. Mask Sheet
I use face mask sheet at least once or twice a week, from Etude House and I prefer Pearl or Honey.
II. Exfoliate
I have Skinfood’s Black Sugar Mask Wash Off and I exfoliate at least once a week, or sometimes thrice a month.
III. Nose Pack
I use The Face Shop’s Blackhead Out Charcoal/Aloe Nose Strips or nose pack from iWhite Korea.
IV. Lip Care
I tried Lush’s lip scrub but I am currently using Nature Republic’s lip essence.

5. Essence*

I use Nature Republic’s Real Nature Acai Berry Essence.

6. Emulsion

I apply Holika Holika’s Aqua Chamomile Emulsion.

7. Moisturizer*

I use and recommend Etude’s Collagen Moistfull Cream and Cetaphil’s moisturizer.

There are some steps that I intentionally set aside such as the ampoule, serum and eye cream part; however, I would like to emphasize the steps with asterisks since those steps are significant in every skin care routines that I have read so far. Today, there are several accessible products nationwide from famous cosmetic road shops in Korea such as Etude House, The Face Shop, Nature Republic, Tony Moly, etc.
PS: This is not a paid or sponsored blog post; therefore, all statements regarding the products or brands mentioned in this entire blog post are just my personal opinion.
